Lois Sizemore Obituary

Lois Dee Sizemore, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 3, 2024. Born on October 25, 1956, to Eddie Henson and Della (Hubbard) Hatfield, Lois led a life marked by hard work, independence, and a love for crafting.

A dedicated worker, Lois often collaborated with her husband in the demanding task of roofing buildings. Her strong-willed nature earned her the affectionate comparison to being "Stubborn as a mule," outdoing even the mule itself. Lois had a penchant for finding treasures at Goodwill and Hobby Lobby, frequently concluding her outings with a visit to her favorite spot, Taco Bell.

An artist at heart, Lois showcased her creativity by crafting a myriad of items, from bird cages to painted figurines. Her talents were matched by an awesome sense of humor, evident in her love for joking and laughter. Music and dance were sources of joy for Lois, and she enjoyed the timeless classics, with Little House on the Prairie holding a special place in her heart, closely followed by Heat of the Night.

Her love extended beyond her hobbies, as Lois was known for her loving and helpful nature. Survived by her children, Rachel Greer and Jesse (Jessica) Henson, grandchildren Samantha Roys, Ronny Greer Jr, Jarrod Greer, Jeremy Greer, Katie Henson, Nevaeh Smith, Amiyah Campbell, Carmella Smith, Brice Smith, and Madison Henson, along with great-grandchildren Elana Greer, Josiah Tolbert, and Jarrod Greer Jr. She is also survived by siblings Margaret Couch of Manchester, KY, and Billy Henson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Lois is preceded in passing by her parents and her husband David Sizemore. While her formal legacy may not be etched in stone, the memories of her warmth, creativity, and unwavering spirit will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
