Lloyd D. Nance

Lloyd DeWayne Nance, 65, passed away March 21, 2026.

He was born April 11, 1960, to the late, Otis & Jewel (Cannon) Nance. He graduated from Broad Ripple High School and received a bachelor's degree in public Affairs from Martin University. Lloyd loved listening to music specifically Michael Jackson. He was a very talented percussionist and could play piano, guitar, and bass. He enjoyed reading the bible, cooking, telling jokes, and spending time with family and friends.

Lloyd is survived by his sons, Aaron Nance and Joseph Nance; friend and mother of his children, Angela Martin; stepchildren, Brandon (wife, Tonya) Freeman, Steven (wife, Jessica) Freeman, Ashley (husband, Josh) Simpson, John (wife, Niya) Blades, and Angelica Martin; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Otis Jr. "Timmy" Nance, Jewel "Nunnie" Nance, Spencer Nance, & Rodney Nance several nieces and nephews; a host of loving friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers Edwin (Eddie) Nance, Rawlings Nance, & Francis Nance.

Services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, April 3,at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services, with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of services.
