Livingston "Doug" W. Hegwood, Jr.

Livingston W. “Doug” Hegwood, Jr., 51, of Indianapolis, passed away April 21, 2026.

He was born January 24, 1975, in Gary to the late Livingston Hegwood & Georgia Walters.

Doug loved to attend church and socialize with his church family. As a kid he attended the Boys club and developed a strong bond with Mr. Martin. Doug had the utmost love and respect for his grandmother "Big Momma".

Doug is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Tawan & Melanie Walters; grandmother, Berniece Walters; aunts, Alice Hegwood & Patricia Rodriguez; uncles, Andrew “Pee-Wee” Wlaters, W.D. Walters, Jr., Vernon (Lisa) Walters, Sylvester “Doc” Walters, and Kelly (Jeanette) Walters, Sr.; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Albert Walters & Allen Walters, Sr.
