Linda Willoughby Obituary

In Loving Memory of

Linda L. (Mobley) Willoughby was called to rest on February 27, 2026. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was a beautiful reflection of love, strength, and quiet grace.

Linda dedicated 43 years of faithful service to Community East Hospital, where her compassion, steady presence, and strong work ethic made a lasting impact. She was deeply committed to caring for others, offering comfort and kindness to patients and coworkers alike. Her career was more than a job — it was a testament to her generous heart and unwavering dedication to her community.

She also made a meaningful and lasting impact within the community surrounding Sam’s Silver Circle. Through friendship, service, and simple acts of kindness, she created a sense of belonging and encouragement for many. Linda had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and supported, strengthening both her community and her family through her loving example.

Linda was a devoted daughter to her beloved mother, Anna, and father, Marion. Their love and guidance shaped the strong and compassionate woman she became.

Above all, Linda’s greatest joy was her family. She was a proud and loving mother to Repete (Jennifer), Holli (Larry), and Kasey (Dustin). Her children were the center of her world, and she supported them with unwavering encouragement, wisdom, and unconditional love. She celebrated their successes, guided them through life’s challenges, and remained their constant source of strength.

Her heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren — Matt, Ralen, Bailea, Bradley, Alex, Jacob, and Nolan. Being their grandmother was one of her most treasured blessings. She delighted in their laughter, cherished their milestones, and created memories with them that will be held close forever. Each grandchild carried a special piece of her heart.

Linda is survived by her loving mother, Anna Mobley; her siblings, Luann (Dave), Laura (Terry), Lisa, Lois, and Jimmy; her children; and her many cherished grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marion Mobley, and her brothers, Rex and Larry, whose memories she held deeply in her heart.

Linda found joy in life’s simple beauties, especially butterflies. She was drawn to their grace and transformation, seeing them as symbols of hope, renewal, and faith. Like the butterflies she admired, Linda brought light and warmth wherever she went.

Her legacy is one of devotion, compassion, resilience, and boundless love. Though she will be deeply missed, the impact she made on her family, her community, and all who knew her will continue to live on in the hearts she touched.
