Linda Elaine (Wilkerson) Shaffer

Linda Elaine Shaffer, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 23, 2021.

Linda was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 4, 1958 to Robert and June Louise (Scott) Wilkerson. Linda was a animal lover.  She enjoyed reading and enjoyed watching the Colts.  She was a surprisingly good dart player.  Linda was always able to find the humor in everything, and her laugh was so contagious you couldn't help but start laughing with her.  She was a lot of fun and could drink with the best of them.  She was a Willie Nelson fan and not ashamed of it.  Linda was a spitfire and feisty and she battled cancer courageously for as long as she was able. While loving, Linda was fierce and very protective of her loved ones and quick to let people know if they did wrong by them, she would right it. 

Linda is survived by her daughters Diane Baker and Laura Dabio; her sisters Sharen (Randy) Wilkerson and Terri (Kelvin) Wilkerson; stepmom Alice Wilkerson; her best friend Roberta Brown; several nieces and nephews; and multiple furbabies.

Linda is preceded in passing by her parents Robert and June Wilkerson.

Services for Linda will be 6 PM, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
