Linda Kay Saunders

Linda Kay Saunders, 58, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 26, 2024.

Linda was born on June 1, 1966, in Indianapolis, IN, to Paul and Linda (Butler) Saunders. She was a warm, happy-go-lucky person with a big heart who cared deeply for those around her. Linda enjoyed simple pleasures, like playing games on her phone and watching Hallmark Christmas movies, which she looked forward to every holiday season. She was especially devoted to her family and loved going “overboard” for her grandchildren, showing her deep love in every thoughtful gift and gesture.

Linda had many talents and hobbies. She enjoyed crafting, especially pottery and jewelry making, and her favorite pastime was fishing, which she did as often as she could. She also enjoyed swimming and was a big fan of WWE. Linda loved music, with Jelly Roll and Garth Brooks among her favorite artists, and Garth Brooks was the first concert she shared with her sons.

She was a dedicated mother who worked hard to provide for her family, and when her grandchildren arrived, they became her pride and joy. Linda spent as much time with them as possible, whether on outings or just talking together. Her family was her greatest source of happiness.

Linda was a woman of faith, and though her time was cut short, her loved ones take comfort knowing she has found peace in her Heavenly Home.

Linda is survived by her sons, Thomas, Christopher, and Cody; her grandchildren, Leah, Elektra, Raven, Phoenix, Neveah, Bradon, Jasper, Aniyah, and Mia; her siblings, Paula Morales and Paul Saunders; nieces and nephews Dylan, Brandon Dakota, Casey, Ronron, Nick, and Michael; her caregiver Georgetta Griffith; and many extended family members.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, Paul and Linda Saunders, and her sister, Kimberly Saunders.
