Linda Sue Huber, 68, of Johnson County, Indiana, passed away on November 15, 2024.
Born on February 14, 1956, in Johnson County to Arthur and Mary Ratliff, Linda was a dedicated and hardworking woman who did everything she could to support her family. Even after going blind, she remained resilient and full of life. Music was one of Linda’s greatest joys—she especially loved Elvis—and her playlist was strictly rock or gospel. She also had a soft spot for classic TV shows like I Love Lucy, Golden Girls, and Bewitched.
Linda’s greatest joy came from being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a playful spirit and was always ready to make her grandkids laugh. Her deep love of chocolate milk became a signature trait, and her grandchildren could always count on her to have some waiting for them.
She is survived by her children Greg Hardin, Shane Hardin, Melissa Hall, Dale Hardin, and Aaron Hardin; grandchildren Josh, Ashley, Aaron, George, Hailey, Christiana, Sierra, Charlee, Dustin, Addie, Bailey, and Kirsten; great-grandchildren Addison, Ty, Kingston, Maya, Jazmin, Alena, Isiah, Aubry, Aleyah, Kylan, and Jai’anah; her sisters Joyce, Patricia, and Darlene; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in passing by her parents, Arthur and Mary Ratliff; her husband, Carl Huber; and eight of her siblings.
