Leroy Passmore McKnight Jr

Leroy Passmore McKnight Jr., 62, of Indianapolis, formerly of Blackford, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 3, 2024. Born in Blackford on December 16, 1961, to Leroy McKnight Sr. and Betty Joe (Tucker) Clark, Leroy was known for his incorrigible sense of humor and his ability to make light of any situation. A true jokester, Leroy's laughter and charm left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Leroy's adventurous spirit took him overseas, where he enjoyed traveling and exploring places. He was a serial flirt, known for his playful nature and charismatic personality. His love for life extended to various hobbies, including frequenting the casino and playing horseshoes. Leroy had a green thumb and took great pride in nurturing his plants that brought joy to those around him. An avid sports fan, Leroy was the biggest Colts fan you could ever meet, never missing a game and cheering passionately for his team.

Leroy is survived by his beloved children, Lori (Javier Boyd) Prentice, Stephen McKnight, Michelle McKnight, and Zachary Byrd. He also leaves behind his siblings, Roy McKnight and Charlene Brummett, along with many nieces and nephews, including Brandon McKnight, Teri Brummett, and Justin Brummett, with whom he shared a special bond. Leroy's legacy continues through his several grandchildren, including Javier Prentice, who will carry his memory in their hearts. 

Preceding him in passing are his parents, Leroy McKnight Sr. and Betty Joe Clark.
