Lee "The Predator" Allen Brandt, 52, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020.
Lee was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 30, 1968 to James Ray and Vicki Lynn (Henry) Brandt. He always went to the beat of his own drum, and thought in a way that was completely different than anyone you could hope to meet. He was creative and loved music. He was always singing, and his favorite genre was Country. Trees were his life, he made a living by climbing and working in them, as well as doing it in his spare time. That's where the nickname "The Predator" came from, because much like the Predator, he was never on the ground. He wanted to share his love of trees with everyone, including his guinea pig Peewee Scumbag, whom he would keep in his pocket and insist was learning.
Lee was a gentle soul with a huge heart. He adored kids and gave all the ones in his family nicknames. He was the kind of person who was always happy and treated every person he met with the same amount of respect and care. He didn't care what your background was, he just liked people, and he was loved by those he met in turn. He enjoyed talking with them and being out among them. He was never one to stay inside four walls, he always wanted to be out. He was also a very Biblical man with a strong faith in God. Despite the sorrow at his passing, comfort can be found that he is now at peace with the Lord.
Lee is survived by his mother, Vicki Brandt; his brother Ronald Brandt; his sister Kelly Brandt; Frank and Rita Eversole, whom were like a second pair of parents to him; close friend Erin Atkinson; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and additional friends.
Lee is preceded in passing by his father James Brandt and his brother Patrick Brandt.
Services for Lee will be private and at the family's convenience.
