Lee Dale Woodall, 73, of Indianapolis, a beloved child of God was called home on October 28, 2025.
Lee was born in Somerset, Kentucky to Homer and Dora (Burdine) Woodall. He loved to watch old western movies and television shows, a hobby he shared with his dad. Lee also loved 1960’s and 1970’s gospel and country music. He loved to help those around him, and he loved family holiday gatherings, especially when his mother or sister cooked favorites foods with love. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially in his later years with his great nephew, Jaythen.
Lee is survived by his aunt, Margie Wernsing; sister, Debra Egner; nephews: Keith Woodall and Lee Egner; niece, Mechelle Egner; eight great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Michelle Egner.
Lee is no longer confined and restricted to his earthly body and is now free and happy in heaven. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time worthy to be compared with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:18.
Funeral services for Lee will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Fountain Square Cremation and Funeral Service, 1420 East Prospect Street, Indianapolis. Lee will be laid to rest in New Crown Cemetery following the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
