Larry Coan Obituary

Larry A Coan died on February14, 2021. Born May 7, 1950 Larry graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1968. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Butler University in 1972. He began working at Hooks Drugs soon after college and moved with the company to South Bend, Indiana until the company merged. At that time, he returned to Indianapolis. Larry then served as a security guard at the State Capitol Building until his retirement.

Larry is preceded in death by his mother Eunice, father, Marion ‘Bud’, and brother Gregory Coan.

He is survived by his siblings Gary (wife Lorie) Coan and Carol Shinn, nephews Michael (wife Stacy) and Warren Coan, Nicholas and Joshua Shinn, and his great-nephews, Javen and Asher Shinn.

A memorial service will be held in the Spring to commemorate all of Larry’s many accomplishments and to share in joyful memories of having been a part of Larry’s life.
