Kimberly Michelle Holloway

Kimberly Michelle (Shelly) Holloway,(58) passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2023 at Community East Hospital. She was born on July 24, 1964 the daughter of Gloria Pack and Stanley Holloway.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gloria Pack(Drew), Stanley Holloway, and grandson Davante Austin.

Shelly is survived by her spouse Paten Austin, son Tevin Holloway, daughter, Gloria Austin, two granddaughters Ka’mya and Isabella her two sisters Terita and Angela and 5 brothers Kevin, Drew, Stanley, Dewayne and John and many nieces and nephews.

A breast cancer survivor, 12 years cancer free❤️ A dedicated mother first and foremost. Shelly treasured her children and embraced every moment with them she especially loved her role as Grandma. She spent the majority of her days spending time with her granddaughter, Ka’mya getting into crazy things and teaching her how to live life.

Shelly was loved by so many. She was the person that took a million pictures of herself and tagged you in every one of them on Facebook lol. You knew when she wasn’t feeling well and you knew when she was in good spirits and she didn’t shy away from telling you how she felt. If she thought you was a piece of you know what she was gonna let you know lol.

Shelly loved her family and she loved spending time with them. She was always there whenever you needed her. She made sure the last thing she would ever say before leaving you is I love you.

So don’t think of this as a goodbye, or think that there were things left unsaid, because Shelly was loved and loved us back.

This is not a goodbye but I’ll see you later.
