Kenneth "Kenny" DeWayne Sloan, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 11, 2022.
Kenny was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 6, 1965 to Billy and Priscilla (Ford) Sloan. He went to Washington High School for 4 years, before graduating in '85 from Southport. Kenny was a sponge for knowledge, he was incredibly smart and resourceful. He worked for 15 years at a mortgage company before his health made him quit. He was a terror on the road, a speed demon who thought the limit was for others, and he always loved driving a Hot Rod Lincoln, blue. He didn't have an easy go of things, life gave him more than his fair share of setbacks, but he never lost his compassion nor his humanity, he always had love and God in his heart and was a faithful man. He did the best he could with the hands he was dealt. Kenny was the type of person who appreciated everything, he had a love for trinkets and knickknacks, the odds and ends he would find. He was very family orientated and he loved spending time with him. When the holidays came he went all out, extravagant for the kids when he could. He loved his kids and his nieces and nephews, and cherished all the cookouts, get togethers, and holidays he got to spend with them.
Kenny is survived by his children Christopher (Cynthia) Sloan and Hanah Sloan; his siblings Ronnie (Jan) Sloan, Robin (David) Coonfield, Billie Jann Bowman, Jeff (Sherry) Sloan, and Tammy Sloan; his sisters-in-law Vickie, wife of Randy and Darcee, wife of Shawn; his many nieces and nephews Veronica, Vanessa, Timothy, Justin, Jennie, Billy, Daniel, Valerie, Beth, Steve, Shelby, Christian, Caleb, Joshua, Angel, Krystel, Braunson, Shaun II, Jayla, Jordyn, and Shallon.
Kenny is preceded in passing by his parents, Billy and Priscilla Sloan; and his brothers Randy, Shaun, and Shannon, all Sloans.
Funeral services for Kenny will be 1 PM, Monday, February 28, 2022 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow services at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
