Kenneth "Kenny" E Murphy Sr

Kenneth "Kenny" Edward Murphy, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021.

Kenny was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 1, 1960 to Jody and Myrtle (Young) Murphy. He worked as a roofer and had a fantastic work ethic. His happy place was out fishing with an ice cold Budweiser (or any cold beer).  He was an advocate of tough love and that's how he raised his sons, but with his grandchildren he was a marshmellow.  He loved those kids

Kenny is survived by his sons, Kenneth Jr and Kevin; his grandchildren Mason, Drake, and Amara; his siblings Dale, Deborah, and Jacky; his beagle Sassy; his parrot Dewey; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

Kenny is preceded in passing by his parents Jody and Myrtle Murphy. 

Services for Kenny will be 6 PM, Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
