Kendra "Reddy Redd" Lynn Combs, Baby Bird to her mother, 37, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 14, 2024. Kendra was born in Indianapolis, IN, on September 4, 1987, to Kenneth Combs Sr. and Wanda (Martin) Pitman.

Known for her fiery spirit and unyielding determination, Kendra was a fierce protector of her family and herself. Her bold personality was reflected in her ever-changing hair colors, with red becoming her signature look. She took great pride in her appearance, always making sure her nails, lashes, and overall look were perfectly put together.

Kendra had a sharp sense of humor and loved spending time with her friends. Music was the soundtrack of her life, and her eclectic tastes were all over, always inspiring her to sing, dance, and create. A talented lyricist and writer, Kendra often filled her journals with original songs and short stories. Her love for movies was as broad as her musical interests—if it looked good, she was ready to watch it.

Her favorite color was green, and she had a soft spot for Life Saver gummies, particularly the pink and purple ones. Family gatherings often included her favorite treat: her mom’s Banana Split Cake, a dish that no one else could make quite like her.

Above all, Kendra was a loving mother, devoted sister, and wonderful daughter. Her fierce love for her family and her vibrant personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Kendra is survived by her mother, Wanda Pitman; her stepfather, Craig Hollinghead; her beloved daughter, Neveah; her siblings Kenny Combs Jr., Carol (Jamie) Alexander, Jesse (Mary) Hall, Tonya Gentry, and Patrick Combs; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Kendra's spirit, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of those who cherished her.
