Karen Richardson, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by the people who loved her most on June 3, 2026.
Karen was born on July 18, 1965, in Indianapolis. She was all about her family, especially her grandchildren, who she absolutely adored (and spoiled lots). She loved crocheting, being around her people, and any excuse to turn a regular day into a good time. Karen was funny in her own way—quick with a joke, a comeback, or something that would have everyone laughing whether they expected it or not. She definitely knew how to keep things lively and never let a dull moment last long.
Karen is survived by her husband of 35 years, Danny Richardson; daughter, Amber Kemper; sons, Andrew Richardson and Dylan Richardson; grandchildren, Nathan, Gauge, Merissa, Maverick, Ryder, and Rhodes; great-grandson, Dazzmon; siblings, Tony, Angie, Michelle, Tanya and Scott; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Karen's wishes for cremation were honored, and her family will cherish the memories, laughter, and love she shared throughout her life.
She loved her people fiercely, laughed often, and left behind stories that will be told for years to come.
