Kailene Munns-Lawrence

Kailene Munns-Lawrence was born on January 26, 1999, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the parents of Shawn Lawrence and Michele Munns. 

Kailene attended North Central High School and then for a short period of time she attended Arsenal Technical High School.

Kailene loved going to church.  She attended Power House Church of God In Christ and later started going to Church of God In Christ Robinson Temple with her Pappa.  She also attended Mount Carmel Baptist church, with her grandma, Tammy, where she was baptized.

Kailene loved her family and enjoyed all the fun outdoor activities they did together.  One of her favorite outdoor activity was horseback riding with her Pappa.  She also loved spending precious time with her son, Demetrius.  Kailene had a passion for animals and wanted to become a Veterinarian.   

Kailene loved to travel.  She had a warm smile and a caring heart for people.  She will be greatly missed by all of us.

On Saturday, August 29, 2020, Kailene departed this earth.  She leaves to cherish her loving memories:  her parents; Michele Munns and Shawn Lawrence; her son; Demetrius Alexander Munns; brothers and sisters; Gracesyn, Alexander, Brooklyn, Evan and Ronald; her grandparents; Alex “Pappa” Powell, Tammy Lawrence and Leanne Munns; her aunt; Ashley Lawrence-Powell; her nephews and niece; Gabriel Welch, Lisa Welch and Damian Miller; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, close relatives and friends.

Services were Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services
