Junior Leon Anderson

Junior Lee Anderson, 72, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026. Born on January 5, 1954, Junior lived a life defined by hard work, craftsmanship, and a deep love for his family.

Junior had a passion for classic cars, especially those with history and character. He was well known for organizing and running “Old Cars Only”, where he brought together others who shared his appreciation for timeless vehicles. His talent extended beyond the shows, he was a skilled upholsterer who took pride in his work, restoring and creating with his hands and leaving behind pieces that will last for years to come.

He shared his life with his significant other, Deniece Safewright, who stood by his side with love and support.

Junior was a proud father to Brian Anderson, Brad Anderson, Justin Anderson, Ashton Anderson, and Carmella Palmer. He was also a loving grandfather to Nicolaus, Jeremiah, Kade, Karly, Cooper, Olive, Emmy, Aceton, Aslan, Everest, Onyx, Oren, Mavis, Sutton, and Ozzie. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished the time he spent with each of them.

He is also survived by his mother, Betty, and his sister, Connie, who will continue to hold his memory close.

Junior will be remembered for his dedication to his craft, his love of classic cars, and the quiet strength and care he showed to those around him. His legacy lives on through his family and the many lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
