Scott Vaughn, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 12, 2024. Scott was a hardworking and passionate individual who dedicated his life to his family and community. He was a devoted husband to Erin Vaughn and a proud father to his five sons: Julian Seth Vaughn (and Clairah Hurst), Christopher Vaughn, Jordan Vaughn, Nicholas Vaughn, and Elijah Vaughn. He was also a loving grandfather to Bennett Vaughn.
Scott was deeply family-oriented, always present and supportive of his family's activities. He was known for his willingness to help anyone, even those he didn't know. His generosity and kindness touched many lives.
Scott served as a wrestling coach for multiple years in Franklin Township, where he mentored and inspired many young athletes. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, boating, and camping.
Scott is survived by his parents, Julian and Marcia Vaughn; his brother, Jason Vaughn, and his wife Brandi Vaughn; his nephews, Cyle Vaughn (and his wife Mara Vaughn) and Joshua Vaughn (and Anna Feltner); his aunt Jackie Marlow and cousins; and his brother-in-law, Andrew Hobgood.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Scott’s honor on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Details will follow.
Scott's legacy of love, support, and community service will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Scott Vaughn. You will be greatly missed.
