Judy Ann Waterman

Judy Ann Waterman, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 24, 2022.

Judy was born in Indianapolis, IN on May 31, 1958 to Matthew and Mary (Davis) Waterman. Judy’s soul was so bright. She was always singing and dancing, she absolutely loved music. Elvis was one of her favorites and the song “My Boy” will always hold a special place in her heart.  She was always outside, be it walking, riding her bike, or sitting on the porch.  You could always find her in her tank top and short shorts, when the weather turned cooler maybe a sweater on top of the tank.

Judy dedicated her life to her family.  She adored her children and took great joy in imparting life skills into them, such as cooking. Judy was a great mom, she always put her family first.  She gave the best hugs, the kind you could melt into and know you were safe and understood.  She was kind, would do anything for everyone. Even if you showed up in the middle of the night, she’d make you a cup of coffee so strong it could stand up without a pot, and then put you to bed. Judy was always taking care of those around her.

Judy is survived by her children Charles Francis Bowers, Samantha Ann Hamilton, Angela Irene Bowers, and Lewis Francis Bowers II; her grandchildren Jamie, Rose, Frances, Ronald, Ruby, and Samantha Irene; her siblings Phyllis Spiegel, Sharon Waterman, and Ronnie Waterman; her nephews Roy and Michael; and the father of her children Lewis Bowers.

Judy is preceded in passing by her parents Matthew and Mary Waterman; and her son Lewis Matthew Bowers.

Services for Judy will be 1 PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service. Burial will be at New Crown Cemetery following the funeral.  Services will be officiated by Judy's nephew Pastor Roy Spiegel.
