Judith "Judy" Carol (Gunn) Wand

Judith "Judy" Carol Wand, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021.

Judy was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 18, 1941 to James Robert and Virginia Elizabeth (Asbury) Gunn.  Judy worked for the State for many years, in several different departments.  Judy loved to travel, especially to anywhere with the ocean and a nice beach.  She was sassy, strong, courageous, with a smile that could light up a room.  Judy was giving and loving, she adore family and threw an annual race party.  She loved to hug people and she never met a stranger.  She kept in touch with everyone.  She had a huge heart and was a very big animal love, especially cats. 

Judy is survived by her brother, John Gunn Sr; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Judy is preceded in passing by her parents, James and Virginia Gunn; her husband William Wand Jr; her son William "Billy Hog" Nelson Wand III; and her siblings Loretta Elizabeth Spear, Martha Lou Wilson, and Robert Gunn.

Services for Judy will be 5 PM, Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of service.
