Judith Ann (Hudson) Mitchell

Judith Ann Mitchell, 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025. Born on October 10, 1945, in Indianapolis, she remained a proud Hoosier all her life.

A devoted Christian and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Judith’s warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She dedicated over 40 years of her life as a waitress at Waffle House and Sunshine Café, where she served not only meals but also friendship and smiles to generations of customers.

Judith had a deep love for country music, a good crossword puzzle, and evenings spent watching her favorite crime shows. She especially cherished time with her family, who were the heart of her world.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Dale; her sons, Ryan Mitchell and David Mitchell; her sister, Bobby of Tennessee; and her brother, Donald of Georgia. She was a proud grandmother of ten and great-grandmother to seventeen.

Judith’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
