Joshua Lee Powell, 38, passed July 23, 2026.

He was born November 3, 1987, in Indianapolis. Josh was a karaoke fanatic and would sing all of his favorites but absolutely loved Christina Aguilera. He loved watching television and movies, all the while critiquing the acting and fashion choices. Josh had a heart of gold, loved his family, but his entire world revolved around his four-legged companion, Bruno. Josh & Bruno were rarely apart and loved taking long walks. He had a smile that would instantly make anyone a friend.

Josh is survived by his fur baby, Bruno; siblings, Keila (Skyler Bailey) Duh, Billy (Amy Abner) Knarian, Nicole Phillips, Larry (Jennifer) Rigdon, and sister, Crystal Rigdon; nieces & nephews, Burgandie, Kelsey, Larry, Ashley, Harley, Dylan, Layla, Bryce, Nicholas, Justin, and Tyler; aunts & uncles, Debbie Rigdon, Kella Scott, Darlene Russell, Terry Brown, and Lindell Brown; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Brown Powell; bonus parents, Brenda & Larry Rigdon; his partner, Christopher Berry; nephew, Steh Knarian; Aunt, Sheila Brown; Uncle, Steve Brown; grandparents, William & Ethel Brown, and Charles & Francis Rigdon.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services, with visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
