Joshua Eder Obituary

Joshua Andrew Eder, aged 47, passed away on September 29, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of intelligence, versatility, and a deep love for both people and the natural world. He was born in San Diego, CA, to Randall and Janice (Persinger) Eder.

Josh was a man of many talents and interests, which led him on a diverse career path throughout his life. From 1997 to 1999, he worked in Marketing at USA-olopy, a company that produced Monopoly-themed games for various locations. In the early 2000s, from 2000 to 2008, he ventured into entrepreneurship, founding his own Graphic Design company called Rareform Industries. After this time, he also briefly worked at Jet Source as a Fixed Base Operator at Palomar Airport.

In 2009, Josh joined Klune Industries in North Hollywood, CA, where he excelled as a Quality Control Engineer. From 2014 to early 2023, he served as the go-to Customer Service expert at Decco Castings. In January of 2023, he relocated to Indianapolis, where he embarked on a new career journey at Menards, specializing in Sales in the Power Equipment and Hardware section, where he was on-track to become a manager.

Josh was known for his warm and welcoming personality, making friends wherever he went. His love extended beyond people to his dogs, Rambo and Cheech, whom he cherished as if they were his own children. He had a profound connection with the outdoors and found solace in activities such as fishing, hunting, firearms, and gardening. His bond with nature was a shared passion with his mother, Janice, and together, they reveled in the wonders of the natural world. With a green thumb, he cultivated various plants, but his true love was for growing tomatoes.

Josh was a person with a big heart, always striving to improve himself and the world around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Joshua is survived by his father, Randall (Julie Aldrich-Eder) Eder; his mother, Janice Eder; his sister, Kaetchan; his aunt, Jorja; his uncles, Bobby Morrow, Jesse Morrow, and Scott Eder; and his beloved dogs, Rambo and Cheech.

In honor of Joshua's memory, let us remember his kindness, his passion for nature, and his commitment to being a better person. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, Joshua Andrew Eder.
