Joseph "Joey" Lee McKenny, 30, of Indianapolis, formerly of Fort Meyers, FL, passed away on December 15, 2021.

Joey was born in Fort Meyers, FL, on May 18, 1991 to Terrie McKenney. He was a jack of all trades and very handy, able to do everything from dry wall to roofing to auto mechanics. He was a very hard worker with a strong work ethic. He was reliable when he needed to be. Joey did things in his own time, you couldn't rush him. Once he decided to love someone he did so with his whole heart and it was unconditionally. He was a great father who adored his kids. He fought his demons as best he could, wanting to be better for his family. Joey was loyal and hometown loyal too, he stuck by both the Pacers and the Colts no matter how they did that season. While he will be greatly missed, he is now finally at peace.

Joey is survived by his kids Haileijaid, Joedecy, and Nivea; his mother Terrie McKenney; his sister Sara (Chris) McKenney; his brother Robert McKenney; his grandmother Lucille McKenney; his girlfriend Tawny Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
