Joseph "Joe" Richie McCann

Joseph "Joe" Richie McCann, 53, of Indianapolis, formerly of Denver, Colorado, passed away on December 28, 2020.

Joe was born in Denver on November 16, 1967 to Melvina Evans.  He worked in a warehouse for many years until his health declined. Joe liked to have fun, he was a Budweiser and steak kind of guy.  He liked to travel and especially going to Florida.  He was a sports fan and Notre Dame and IU were his teams.  He was a great uncle and friend to those who know him, he would help you no matter the time, and no matter the circumstance.  He adored his nieces and nephews, hanging out with them, going hiking, taking trips, just spending time with them.  He taught them everything he knew, like how to work and take care of their responsibilities, his favorite thing to tell them "just do the exact opposite of what I did or would do" to guide them through life. 

Joe is survived by his sister Linda (Roger) Carver; 2 nieces; 2 nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.

Joe is preceded in passing by his mom Melvina Evans and his sister Kay Evans.
