Jorden Scott Profitt

Jorden Scott Profitt, 29, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 10, 2020.

Jorden was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 15, 1990 to William Scott Profitt and Marsha Calhoon.  Jorden was a clown, he loved to make people laugh and crack jokes.  He was active and liked to be outside, playing sports and especially fishing.  His passion for fishing started at a young age, when he was too little to have a hook on his pole, he'd take the worms that didn't stick and put them in his pocket for his mother to find later.  He would even sometimes bring home small fish to hide in his mother's bed, to her horror and everyone else's amusement.

Jorden had a big heart.  He loved his family fiercely and he was a great father.  His mother was his best friend.  He will be greatly missed by all those fortunate enough to know him.

Jorden is survived by his children Jordin and Joseph; his mother Marsha Callhoon; his father William Profitt; his siblings Anthony, Blake, and Alyssa; the mother of his children Ashley; his grandmother Gerry; his great-grandmother Ruby; his great-grandfather Charles; and his great-grandparents Gladys and Louie.

Services for Jorden will be 2 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service.  Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
