Jonathan "Jon" Wesley Morris

Jonathan "Jon" Wesley Morris, 54, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019.

Jon was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 25, 1965 to Richard Franklin and Virgina (Harris) Morris.  After obtaining his GED he went straight into the Army, where he proudly served.  Upon returning home to Indiana he worked in a warehouse until he retired. He loved rock music and played guitar.  He took good care of himself and enjoyed working out.  He was funny with a big heart, and his children did not even hesitate to say he was caring and selfless.  He was the type of man to drive miles to help someone, and as a Jack of All Trades, he was handy and talented enough to help with most anything.  In his later years he enjoyed traveling.  Jon was an amazing man, and he will be greatly missed.

Jon is survived by his children Richard and Tashina; his fiancee Jinky; his step children Adam, Jenna, Lisa, Maria Jean, Max and Inno; his siblings Richard, Tracy, Keith, and Michael; his 9 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Jon is preceded in passing by his wife Teresa; and parents, Richard and Virginia.

Funeral Services for Jon will be 5 PM, Friday, October 25, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of Service.
