Johnny Burkhart

Johnny Burkhart, 86, of Indianapolis passed away July 20th, 2021. He was born September 13th, 1934 to the late Myrtle and Johnny Burkhart in Louellen, Kentucky. Johnny met his wife, Sunny, in London, Kentucky. They got married in 1957 and spent a memorable 63 years together. He loved hunting, fishing, and restoring cars in his freetime. Johnny dedicated 4 years to the U.S. Airforce and another 43 years to GM. After retirement, Johnny enjoyed gardening, and spending time with his family. Johnny is survived by his wife, Sunny (Davis). He is also survived by his children, Rocky Burkhart, and Ann Booher (Tony),his grandchildren, Brock Burkhart, Jacob Koon, and Makenzie Koon, and his siblings, Arvil Burkhart, Helen Hammons, Phillis Alexander, and Jake Burkhart. There will be a private viewing held at Fountain Square Funeral Home. There will also be A Celebration of Life following the viewing.
