Joel Kern Barr

Joel Kern Barr, age 66, died unexpectedly April 22, 2022 in the home he grew up in. He was born October 15, 1955 in Indianapolis In. 

He was the son of James and Ellen Barr.  Joel graduated from Arsenal Tech High school in 1974. He was a Glass Glazer for profession who look through the rough to see the best in everyone. The only thing that trumped his love for music and fishing was his love for the Lord and his two daughters, Angelina and Melinda, and granddaughter Kaya. 

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Angelina Barr and his brother’s Gary, Paul and Jimmy Barr. 

He is survived by his daughter Melinda Davis, grand daughter Kaya Davis. His two brothers Daniel and Melvin Barr and many nieces and nephews.
 

A service of remembrance and celebration of life will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, June 11, 22 at Christian Park located at 
4200 English Ave., 
Indianapolis, IN 46201.
