Joanna Aumann

Joanna Aumann, 71, of Greenfield, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

Joanna was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 3, 1950 to Robert and Edna (Ward) Long. Joanna was a busybody, she was always calling her daughter to find out what everyone was up to and how they were doing.  She was the type of woman to help anyone out in any way that she could. She had a heart of gold, a very kind and loving woman.  She was welcoming, and made everyone feel a part of her family.   She was the only girl out of her siblings, so she was tough while also being spoiled rotten by her brothers. Her brothers maintain she was the sneaky one, who always got her way. She bowled in leagues, often with her brothers, and kept them on their toes.  She was a proud Honor Queen for Job's Daughters in her youth as well.

Joanna is survived by her daughter Theresa Wentworth; her grandchildren Angela Wethington, David Wethington, Jeremy Aumann, Thomas Aumann, and Louis Aumann; great-grandchildren Cody, David, Neveah, Raley, Kaley, Dustin; her boyfriend of 30 years Ronald King; her brothers Ron (Cris) Long, Tim (Janie) Long, and David (Janet) Long; and many nieces and nephews.

Joanna is preceded in passing by her parents Robert and Edna (Ward) Long; her son Thomas; her granddaughter Tricia Gregs; and her brother Gary Long.

Services for Joanna will be 5 PM, Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of service.
