Jimmy Ray Welch

Jimmy Ray Welch, 54, of Indianapolis passed away on October 28, 2025.  Jimmy was born on October 6, 1971, in Indianapolis to Jimmy Lee and Patricia Ann (Woodyard) Welch.  Jimmy had worked in construction for many years.  In his free time, Jimmy loved fishing, going to the casino and spending time with his family.

Jimmy is survived by his siblings: Tommy Welch, Teresa Griffith, Cherline Moorman, Little Joe Welch, Donald Welch and Crystal Welch; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tony Welch.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Fountain Square Cremation and Funeral Service, 1420 East Prospect Street, Indianapolis.  Jimmy will be laid to rest at the Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
