Jersie Rainne Castner, 18, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 14, 2023.
Jersie was born in Indianapolis, IN on May 23, 2004, to William Castner and Darla Kord. Jersie was tough, she was a tomboy that liked skating with her brothers. She was very organized and would classify herself as a neat freak, something she got honestly from her mother. Jersie was decisive, she was a go-getter who set goals and then worked hard to achieve them. Her work ethic was unmatched and her drive had her graduating high school early. She was a very smart girl, and she was determined to make something of her life.
Jersie had a smile that would brighten any room. She was one of a kind. Jersie loved her music and dancing. She was spunky and very outgoing. Her natural state was happy, and even when she wasn't, she never let it affect how she treated anyone. Jersie was always there when you needed her, whether it was just a listening ear or needing help, she had your back.
Jersie is survived by her mother Darla Kord; her brothers Remington, Kyle, and Ireland; her sister Mackenzie; grandparents Vicki L Lovell, Harold “Bud” and Janet Castner; and many nieces.
Jersie is preceded in passing by her father William Castner; and her grandfather, David Bruce Kord.
A Memorial Service for Jersie will be 12 PM, Noon, Thursday, 4/20 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the hour of service.
