Jerry Wayne Arnold, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 10, 2025.
Jerry was born on June 5, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Kenneth D. and Mary Jane (Bryns) Arnold. He worked in construction for many years before retiring. Back in the day, Jerry was especially proud of his metallic blue Cutlass—it was his pride and joy for a time, and he loved it deeply while he had it. He also enjoyed getting around on his bike and being out and about in his own way.
Family was everything to Jerry. He adored being a dad and especially loved being a grandpa. He was always there when you needed him—dependable, kind, and present. Jerry had a strong faith and was a devoted member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Indianapolis. He found real joy in his church family and in his relationship with God.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Arnold; his daughters, Christina (Joseph) Post and Cortney Arnold; grandchildren Shelby (Brandon), AJ, Madison, and Joseph Jr.; and great-grandson Braydon. He also leaves behind his siblings Vicki (Steve) Roland, Michael (Kristie) Arnold, and Ronald (Tammy) Arnold; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and his church family.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Kenneth and Mary Arnold, and his siblings Debbie Arnold and Kenneth Arnold Jr.
Jerry will be remembered for his kind heart, steady faith, and the love he had for those around him.
