Jenny A (West) Tickle

Jenny A Tickle, 67, of Indianapolis passed away on July 19, 2019.

Jenny was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 22, 1951 to Claude and Margaret (Hardin) West.  From the start Jenny had a strong work ethic.  She was employed all her life, and only gave it up when her health forced her too, she was never one to give up easily.  She worked hard for her family and those she loved, and she enjoyed the social aspects of her job as well.  As a clerk with McClure Gas she made many great friends (Anita, Mark, Mary, and Tony) she enjoyed seeing daily.  Every job she had revolved around working with people, and they gravitated to her geniuneness and kindness.  She also worked for Village Pantry, for and Adult and Child Mental Health Company, and as a CNA for several years.  

After working so hard, her favorite thing to do was to come home and relax.  She enjoyed her reality shows like Big Brother, Survivor, Teen Moms, and anything HGTV.  She enjoyed gossiping about the contestants on her way to her doctor appointments.  

Jenny would spend hours on the phone with her sister Phyllis and her best friend Jeanette, whom was like another sister.  The three of them were called the Three Musketeers, they were thick as thieves since childhood.  She loved her family, and spending time with them.  

Jenny is survived by her children, Kai (Chenille Peasnall) Woods and Amie Mullens; her grandchildren Halie Mullens, Aa-lexiaPeasnall, Andrew Woods, and Aydon Woods; her sister Phyllis; her nephews Nathaniel, Jason, and Josh; her nieces Maggie, Shawna, and Nina; many great nieces and nephews including Aaron, Sean, Savannah, Kaleigh, Austin, Tyler, Brenden and Mysia; her very best friend Jeanette; and many other friends.

Jenny is preceded in passing by her parents, Claude and Margaret West, and her brothers Carl and Claude. 

A Memorial and Celebration of Life Service for Jenny will be held at Emmaus Lutheran School and Church this Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM for anyone and everyone who would like to attend.  The address is 1224 Laurel St, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
