Jennifer "Jenny" Osborne Obituary

Jennifer "Jenny" "MeMe" Lee Osborne, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 23, 2021.

MeMe was born in Shelbyville, IN on September 23, 1954 to Robert Rothhaas and Marjorie (Butler) Zweck.  MeMe had a big heart, and she adopted just about every kid she came around, and she was never grandma, always "MeMe" and that's what everyone called her.  That or "mom".     She was a phenomenal cook and baker, and turned that passion into her career.  She owned a few restaurants over the course of her life, and was a baker for still more.  Pink and baby blue were her favorite colors and she had an affinity for butterflies and frogs.

MeMe loved to fish, but hated bugs, and would outright run from moths.  She was easily startled, but never let anything hold her back. MeMe went to bat for her family and put everything on the line for them.  She always made sure that regardless of what was going on, her kids knew that she loved them with all her heart.  There was never any doubt in their minds that she cared and would do anything for them.

MeMe was a strong woman who stepped up when things were needed.  Family was the most important thing to her, and there wasn't a single one she wouldn't drop everything for to help.  She had a huge heart and while her kids were her loves, she had a special place in her heart for her grandkids.  She loved them purely and spending time with them.  MeMe was a great mom, she taught her kids to be polite, well-mannered individuals that were honorable and true.  She lived for her kids and always made sure they had what they needed.

MeMe is survived by her children, Patty (Robert Maxey) Games-Maxey and James (Katie) Games; her grandchildren Alyssa, Emilee, Aaron, Monica, Shandi, Kira, Eric, Danny, Cody, Abby, Amber, Michael, Robert, and Emily; her sister Eva; her niece Debbie; her nephew Tommy; 11 great-grandchildren; and several great nieces and great nephews.

MeMe is preceded in passing by her father Robert Rothhass; her mother Majorie Zeck; her son Dennis; and her siblings Kathy, Chuck, and Robert.

Funeral Services for MeMe will be 6 PM, Friday, October 29, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be form 3 PM until the hour of service.
