Jennifer Lynn Sherwood

Jennifer Lynn Sherwood, aged 39, passed away on October 20, 2023. She was born on July 18, 1984, to her parents Neil West and Robin (Sherwood) Guzman.

Jennifer was known for her infectious humor and caring nature. She had a deep love for animals, especially cats, and was equally fond of dogs. Her passion for music, particularly 90s R&B, was evident to all who knew her. Jennifer enjoyed watching Spongebob and indulging in any horror movie she could find, with the "Friday the 13th" series being her absolute favorite. Halloween held a special place in her heart as her favorite holiday.

She was a wonderful sister who had a laugh that was both contagious and genuine. Jennifer had a fascination with unicorns and a love for lipstick that added to her unique charm.

Jennifer is survived by her mother, Robin Guzman, her stepfather, Onorio Guzman Sr., her siblings Daniel Sherwood, Micaela Sherwood, Onorio Guzman Jr., and Laighana West. She is also survived by her grandpa, Ronnie Sherwood Sr., and two individuals who held a special place in her heart, Michelle Arnett and Tonya Cole, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jennifer is preceded in passing by her father, Neil West, her siblings James Sherwood, Neil "Spanky" Sherwood, and Shawn West, and her grandparents, Mary Joyce and Terry Exley.

A service to honor and remember Jennifer's life will be held at 2 PM on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jennifer's absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, but her laughter, love for life, and unique interests will be fondly remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in her journey.
