In Memory of Jason R Lambert (August 14, 1983 - January 27, 2024)
On January 27, 2024, the streets lost one of its own when Jason R Lambert, born and bred in Indianapolis, IN, passed away. A true Fountain Square Local, Jason embodied the grit and pride of his hometown, and he lived his life on the streets, proud and unapologetic.
Jason wasn't just talkative and fun – he was the guy who knew everyone. Despite dealing with his own demons, he had a heart of gold. A real stand-up guy who navigated the ups and downs of life with a swagger that earned him respect.
Survived by his brother Michael (Sylvia) Lambert, half-sisters Lakota and Cheyanne, and a bunch of nieces and nephews, including his close homies Michael II, Robert, and Alexander, Jason's circle extended far beyond blood ties. His chosen family, extended crew, and a ton of friends are left with a void that can't be filled.
Jason now joins his folks, Otis and Violet, and his brother Otis Jr. on the other side. As we remember this Fountain Square Local, let's celebrate the good times, the connections he made, and the mark he left on our streetwise memories. May he find eternal peace in a world where the struggles of the streets no longer weigh him down.
