Jarrod Landers, 30, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 31, 2024. Born on April 22, 1994, he was the youngest son of Terry and Laverne Landers. Jarrod had a natural talent for technology—whether fixing electronics or mastering the latest gadgets, he could handle it all with ease. His love for animals, especially cats, showed his softer side, but he was always the reliable, hands-on guy who could be counted on to get things done.
Jarrod's faith was unwavering, and he stood strong in his beliefs, trusting in the Lord throughout his life. Generous to a fault, he was the first to step up when someone needed help, no questions asked. Forgiving by nature, Jarrod wasn’t one to hold grudges; he understood that people made mistakes and believed in second chances. He was solid, dependable, and wasn’t afraid to own up to his shortcomings—qualities that earned him the respect of those around him.
At his core, Jarrod was a family man. His loyalty to his loved ones was unshakable, and no matter what, family always came first.
Jarrod is survived by his parents, Terry and Laverne Landers; his siblings Mark (Candra), Tracy (Keith), Connie (Greg), Laura (Jacob), Shawna (Richard), Candace, Diamond, and Amanda. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and devotion that will live on through those who knew him.
A private memorial service will be held at the family’s convenience.
