Jane Elizabeth Thompson

Jane Elizabeth Thompson, 61, of Indianapolis, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

Jane was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 7, 1959 to Albert and Virginia (Achenbach) Ameiss.  Jane was a good person, everyone loved her.  She was very hippie, she loved tattoos and peace signs.  She enjoyed scary movies and Family Guy was one of her favorite programs.   Classic rock was her jam, but she did like the newer artists too.  She was a sweet , loving woman who brought smiles to many people's faces.  She was extremely kind.  She was talented and enjoyed painting and coloring.  She was incredibly close with her daughter Amanda, and they would often get their hair and nails done, go shopping together, hang out and talk, or just color next to each other.  She adored her Grandson and spent as much time with him as she was able. 

Jane is survived by her children Amanda, Russell, and Tony; her grandson Timothy; her boyfriend Paul; and many friends including her best friend, Melissa.

Jane is preceded in passing by her parents, Albert and Virginia Ameiss and her dog Albert. 

Services for Jane will be 6 PM, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
