James Allen Clements, beloved husband, father, papaw, and friend, passed away on March 3, 2024, in Avon, Indiana. He was born on December 12, 1950, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the loving parents Paul and Lois Clements. James grew up in a warm and nurturing home filled with love and laughter with brother, PD and sister, Janet.

Married in 1971 to his best friend, Mary Clements, James cherished their union and the love they shared. Together, they raised a beautiful family and created countless memories that would last a lifetime. James was a devoted husband and a loving father to his children Leilania, Eric, Clinton, and Casey, grandchildren Seaira, Mark, Makenzie, Kedric, Nathan, Kendell, Alexa, Clinton Jr, Devi, and Cali, and great grandchildren Leonardo, Mateo, and Mason. His family meant everything to him, and he took great pride in being a supportive and caring presence in their lives.

Throughout his life, Jim was a dedicated team lead at Ryder, where his leadership skills and work ethic shone brightly. Beyond his professional endeavors, James found joy in a multitude of hobbies and interests. He had a passion for collecting and building model cars and airplanes. His collection of replica cars from various eras was a testament to his meticulous attention to detail and his passion for craftsmanship.

In his lifetime, Jim faced many joys and challenges, always approaching each experience with grace and resilience. His warmth and compassion knew no bounds, and he made a lasting impact on all those fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

Known for his infectious smile and kind heart, Jim touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a compassionate and generous soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His unwavering positivity and cheerful demeanor brightened the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.

While we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lois Clements, as well as his brother Paul Denny Clements, sister Janet Cox, and son James Christian Clements.
