James Dillard Jarvis, 49, of Indianapolis, formerly of London, KY, passed away on March 16, 2025.
Born on June 5, 1975, in London, KY, to Sharlotte (Jarvis) Tucker and Charles “Chuck” Wilson, James was a man who appreciated the simple things in life—a good meal, a long nap, and his favorite TV show, COPS, which he never missed. He was a dedicated Colts fan and never shied away from a good debate, always ready to argue his point.
Above all, James was a father who did his best to be there for his family.
He is survived by his mother Sharlotte Tucker; children, James II, Jayda, and Dillon; his siblings, Robbie Lynn, Terry Tucker, and Timy Tucker; as well as many nieces and nephews.
James is preceded in passing by his father, Chuck Wilson; his daughter Desarai; and his brother Russell.
