Jacqueline “Jackie” Phillips, 62, of Indianapolis, formerly of London, KY, passed away on January 5, 2025.
Jackie was born on May 26, 1962, in London, KY, to Paul and Daisy (Smith) Phillips. She worked as a hairdresser for many years. Jackie was strong-willed, outspoken, and unapologetically herself.
She loved listening to music and spending time at the movies, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. A woman of deep faith, Jackie lived by the teachings of Christ and had a remarkable capacity for kindness. Her home was a haven for anyone in need, and her generosity knew no bounds.
Jackie’s proudest roles were being a mother and grandmother. She adored her daughter and granddaughter, always putting family at the center of her life.
She is survived by her daughter Emily Phillips; granddaughter Rosalie; her life partner Tom Peecher; her brother Dale Phillips; and many nieces and nephews.
Jackie was preceded in passing by her parents, Paul and Daisy Phillips, and four brothers.
