Jacqueline was born on May 13, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jackie and Zelma Price. She was a beloved sister to Juliana, Richard, and Rodger, a devoted mother to Julian Sollenskog, and a cherished mother-in-law to his wife, Lainey. She was also a dear friend to many, touching countless lives with her warmth and generosity.
Jacqueline’s faith was central to her life, and she found deep joy in her Hope Church community. Music lived in her soul, she loved singing, dancing, and filling spaces with joy and song. Above all else, Jacqueline loved being a mother. Julian was the light of her world, and her love for him was unwavering and boundless.
She had a gift for helping others and making everyone around her feel seen, valued, and loved. Jacqueline delighted in decorating and creating beauty, believing that even the smallest touches could make life more meaningful. Her kindness, creativity, and loving spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A ceremony honoring Jacqueline’s life will be held on Mother’s Day this year, followed by a celebration-of-life tree planting ceremony in her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made by referring to the family’s meal train.
