Isaac "Biscuit" Eugene Mathis

Isaac "Biscuit" Eugene Mathis, 50, passed away on January 3, 2022.

Biscuit was born in Anderson, IN to Everett and Ruth (Porter) Mathis on April 13, 1971.  He worked construction, and had a great work ethic.  He was one-in-a-million.  He loved his dogs, they were his babies.  He was the kid whisperer, and at any event children were there he would entertain and play with them rather than adults.  He was fiercely protective of his siblings and he was never afraid to stand up for those he cared about.  He was a music love and some of his best memories were playing guitar with his dad and his brother.  Biscuit's happy place was the lake house, being on the water either boating, fishing, or both.  He was at peace there and tried to be there as often as he could.  

Biscuit is survived by his dad Everett Mathis; his siblings Everett (Ronda) Mathis Jr; Sandra (Mike) Mathis; and Mary (Allen) Mathis; his son Josh Mathis; his grandchildren Alyiana and Aaliyaha Mathis; his dogs Fred and China; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Biscuit is preceded in passing by his mother Ruth Mathis; and his sister Helen Mathis.
