In Loving Memory of
Ina Marie Bordner, of Highland, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
She was born on July 11, 1942, in Highland, Michigan, the daughter of Max and Ethel Bryan.
On September 19, 1959, Ina married the love of her life, James W. Bordner, in Highland. Together they built a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
James and Ina made their home in Milford, Michigan, where they were surrounded by family and many dear friends. Later in life, they retired to the shores of Lake Gogebic in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. There they enjoyed many wonderful years at the home they built together and spent countless happy days at their hunting camp. Ina especially enjoyed riding four-wheelers and snowmobiles and sharing their love of the outdoors with James.
Ina is lovingly remembered by her children, James (Beth) Bordner, Janice (Steven) Stemberger, and Michael (Deb) Bordner; her sister, Bonnie (Tom) Nelson; her grandchildren, Kathleen (Randy) Davison, Jessica Miller, Rebecca (Kyle) Hanson, and Savannah (Lance) Blight; and her great-grandchildren, Isabella Miller, Emmett Davison, James Holman, Ellery Davison, and Hayes Hanson.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James W. Bordner, and her brothers, Larry Bryan and Jim Bryan.
A celebration of Ina’s life with family and friends will be held on July 11, 2026, with the location to be announced at a later date.
