On June 13, 2023, we said goodbye to a bright and spirited soul, Iker Solano Maldonado, 19. Born on September 23, 2004, to Carlos Solano and Glenda Maldonado, Iker's time with us was filled with a passion for life, love for his family, and a drive to pursue his dreams.
Iker's love for soccer and the freedom of riding his motorcycle brought him immense joy and exhilaration. Whether it was the thrill of scoring a goal or the wind in his face as he rode, these pursuits ignited his spirit and showcased his adventurous nature.
A true enthusiast of all things automotive, Iker found joy in working on cars and exploring their inner mechanics. He possessed a natural talent and curiosity that fueled his desire to understand the intricacies of machines. His dedication and skill in this area were admirable, making him a valuable resource to family and friends in need of automotive expertise.
Beyond his mechanical pursuits, Iker's heart was deeply connected to the world of music and dance. He aspired to become a DJ, sharing his love for music and creating a vibrant atmosphere for others to enjoy. Iker's passion for dancing was infectious, as he effortlessly moved to the rhythm, bringing smiles to those around him. A shared love of classic rock was a bond that Iker treasured, particularly with his father, Carlos. The melodies and lyrics of the music they enjoyed together created a soundtrack to their relationship, fostering a deep connection and shared memories.
Iker held a special bond with his mother, Glenda, and was a devoted and caring brother. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he made it a priority to look out for them. He strived to make his loved ones proud, harboring aspirations to carve his own path and leave a lasting impact on the world. Iker's determination to succeed and create something of his own was a testament to his independent spirit and his desire to honor his family's support and love.
Though Iker's time with us was cut short, his legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends. His unwavering love, passion, and commitment to his dreams serve as a reminder to us all to embrace life's adventures and cherish the bonds we hold dear.
Iker Solano Maldonado is survived by his parents, Carlos Solano and Glenda Maldonado; his siblings Aryani Solano and Dylan Solano; and a loving network of extended family and friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.
Services for Iker will be 1 PM, Friday, June 16, 2023 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 11 AM until Service hour. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery.
May Iker find eternal peace, and may his vibrant spirit continue to inspire us to pursue our passions, nurture our relationships, and make the most of every moment.
