Hattiella "Ella" (Hash) Goad

Hattilla "Ella" "Grandma Goad" Goad, 76, of Indianapolis, formerly of Martinsville, IN, passed away on May 31, 2022.

Ella was born in Martinsville, IN on April 15, 1946 to Samuel Jesse Hash and Hattiethel (Fleeman) Watson.  She obtained her Bachelors in Hotel Management from Ivy Tech.    Ella was well read, whether it was books or magazines.  Ella was a huge Elvis fan and classic country music.  She enjoyed word searches and dice, which she played with her grandkids and taught them to cheat.  Ella was proud and stubborn, she never left any doubt to what her opinion was.   She loved animals and her family, they were the most important things to her.  She is now reunited with Michael, her beloved dog Scrappy, and her loved ones who went before her in Heaven.

Ella is survived by her children Paula Reddy, Staci Thelen, and Danny Bennett; her grandchildren Michelle Hammons, Randy Hammons, John Hammons, Nicole Burger, Bianca Hammons, and Natalie Hammons; her great-grandchildren JJ, Able, Paula K, Sidarrah, Leo, Myia, and Austin; her great-great-grandson Zaiden; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Ella is preceded in passing by her husband Michael Goad; her father Samuel Hash; mother Hattiethel Watson; granddaughters Ella, Heavenly, and Serenity; and 13 siblings.
