Glenna Pletcher, age 87, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. She was born on December 8, 1938, in Luner, Kentucky, to the late James and Mae Boone.

In 1958, Glenna married the love of her life, Carl Pletcher Jr., and together they built a family filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mae Boone; her husband, Carl Pletcher Jr.; her brothers, Boyd Boone and James Boone; her sisters, Joy Lile and Jean Johnson; her son, Marvin Blackburn; her grandson, Michael Robinson; her great-grandson, Kingston Bishop; and her son-in-law, Ron Hege.

Glenna is survived by her loving children: Stan (Susan) Blackburn, Carl Pletcher III, Rick (Janet) Pletcher, Susie Hege, and Roxie (Cameron) Robinson. She is also survived by six grandchildren—Ricky, Jacklyn, Brandon, Triton, Leonidas, and Cinderella—and seven great-grandchildren.

Glenna loved Jesus and lived her life with faith at the center of her heart. She enjoyed country music, working puzzles, and had a special fondness for the color green. She was known for being her own “private news detective,” always keeping up with the latest happenings and sharing them with family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
