Genevieve was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 6, 1940 the daughter of the Late Samuel Sr and Alice (Reel) Shaffer.

Genevieve is survived by her husband Ira; 3 children; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister.
